The best way for you to make extra income would be to start your own business or start investing money. But there is a problem with this. Most of the people who do need to get extra streams of income do not have any money to start investing with in the first place. If that is you then there are some things which you can do in order to make some side money.

1. Freelance Writing Opportunities
Freelance writing is a big business online. The web is run by fresh content and there are plenty of people who are willing to pay for that content. Blogs, webmasters, even magazine owners are looking for people to write good quality stuff for them.
If you can convince them that you are the right man for the job then they will pay. It can be a great way of making money, but also very time consuming because you have to search and apply for individual jobs then you have to do the work.
2. 2nd Job
Another easy way to get a 2nd income would be to simply go out and get a 2nd job. A job is an easy way to make money because you just do what your employer wants and get money. You just need to make sure that you are managing your time wisely, because if you aren’t things can get really complicated really fast.
Even if you are retired, if you need extra money then looking for jobs after retirement is not a bad idea.
3. Donating Plasma
Another thing that you can do is to donate plasma. You’ll have to fill out paperwork on your first visit. But if they can use your blood it can be a great way of making some extra money. You get paid based off of what they can get out of it but it can mean an extra $100-$200 a month for 4 hours of work.
