There are two types of sever, the recent ones which are mostly wireless and the wired servers. Basically, running the server is essential if you are to connect the computer to the server. This process is normally easy and can be done in a few simple steps.
Generally, a wired network will require Ethernet cable to connect. You will need to plug in the Ethernet cable onto your computer and also onto the server’s modem. Upon plugging in the Ethernet cable and switching on the computer, you should be able to see an LED light up at the computer port. You will see one or two monitors at the bottom left of your screen depending on the type of connection you are running on. This is basically an indication that you have connected successfully.
Once connected, you’ll need to right click the icons at the bottom left of your computer screen which are basically one or two small monitors to search for connections. Generally, it will take the computer lesser time to find the server on a wired connection than on a wireless connection. Upon finding the connection, you’ll now need to click on connections button on the drop down menu and enter your password to connect.

The main idea behind the server management studio is to enable database administrators to manage databases without necessarily being glued to the screens.
Also, a Secure Query Language server can install on to a windows server as long as it is registered to the server computer. The registration generally is vital in maintaining objects such as tables, views and other data. Basically, to register the Secure Query Language, you would need a name.
To register, you would go to the bottom right of your computer screen and click the start button. You will then need to click on the all programs button. There, you should be able to see a button indicated as SQL server. You’ll click this button and then go to the management studio in order to open the main console.
At the main console, right click the name of your server to open the window wizard for registration. It is on this registration wizard window that you will input a few data such as the name of your sever. You must also input the description.
Basically, you need to fill in all the slots on the wizard window. Once you have completed filling the wizard window, click the save button. The wizard window will automatically close. On completion, you should able to see your new data base registered on the left side of the screen.
